You must argue your position with ethical theory and also show how your position is stronger than the opposing position supported by another theory. You may use any theory except utilitarianism.Answer the following Option A:Should animals be used in medical research? In your response, consider which kind of animals (if any) would be morally permissible to use in medical research and what consideration should be given regarding pain. In your paragraph, you must: 1, Apply at least one ethical theory to support your position and explain how a different theory compares when applied to this issue. 2. Show how your position supported by ethical theory is stronger than another position supported by another theory. It is not enough to name a theory; you must explain the theory and demonstrate how your position reflects the logic and reasoning of that theory. You may not use utilitarianism as one of the theories. Remember that theory is the why behind your beliefs.

Ethics of Animal Use in Medical Research I think that the use of animals in research does more good than wrong. Animals such as primates have many resemblances to humans and are therefore the most appropriate for research. The theory of Ethical Egoism agrees with my argument. This theory seeks to promote ones good. We all agree that animal use in medical research results in more benefits than wrongs. The theory of justice, however, compares differently. This theory focuses on performing actions that are fair to all the parties involved.
