ADMISSION ESSAYEvery child born across the world has destiny attached unto it. Every child has a dream to achieve that which destiny has set them to do. No one can understand why I spend two slots in a meager six-slot class schedule on two languages. I have always been obsessed with practicality and studying more "relevant" subjects such as Economics and American Governance. The passion that I have developed for these subjects is immeasurable. That explains why I sign up for Latin and Ancient Greek year after year. For my peers, analyzing the Aeneid translations and attempting to identify the lessons on human nature in epics such as The Odyssey is only marginally more appealing or useful than trying to glean the number theory from cave art.
