The American revolution.IntroductionThe American Revolution was a planned uprising of people who were united against a cruel tyrannical rgime. The colonies simply stood up and fought for their independence. The revolution was in the peoples souls. The French and Indian war instilled confidence in the colonies since the outcome was victorious. This made the colonies view themselves as separate entities that could defend themselves however, King George III and the parliament saw the situation in a different way. They were declaring their need for colonies so as to remain a universal power and make a profit through trade and taxes in the colony. Therefore, the British government heightened control over the colonies and levied more taxes which escalated the situation and the revolt increased....
