Write a response to the following post:Professional boards and organizations protect the health and wellness of the public. The boards have full control of the outcomes of the anonymous complaints that they receive. The board functions are investigator, prosecutor, judge, jury, and executioner (Orient, 2018). This puts doctors and health care professionals at risk every day. They are at risk at losing their license, could be bankrupted, name disgraced and may even find themselves unemployable (Orient, 2018). The doctors or health care professional that has a complaint on them doesnt even get a chance to defend themselves and the board decides the outcome on their behalf. Even everyday criminals who are charged with a crime have been heard by an unbiased judge or jury. Doctors and healthcare professional should receive the same treatment as any other person who is charged with a crime (Orient, 2018) This type of situation can cause many issues for the healthcare member and the health care environment.Suggestions for these professional boards and organizations to increase the safety of the public is to allow doctors and healthcare professional who are charged with a crime to have a fair trail by jury or judge. They healthcare professional should have all the same rights that all other charged with crimes have. Ethical all humans have right to be heard (Yamin, 2019)The boards should also consider the impacts that their decisions have on the medical community when they decide the outcomes of these issues.References:Orient, J.
