Are theyo    providing you a future direction to pursue?o    Are the conclusions of the authors substantiated by the results of the paper?o    Are there flaws in the current design that could be remedied by a future study?o    What is the current finding or contribution of these results, as it relates to your future researcho    topic?o    How would you rank this paper in importance as it relates to your research question?o    Does this paper serve as a model for helping your design your method?o    Use PubMed, PsycINFO, or Google Scholar to find your articles.o    Follow APA style.Steps to help plan your assignments:1) Find a topic of interest. For exampleWhat is the role of the hippocampus in spatial memory processing?Do glia cells play a role in removing toxins during sleep?What is deep brain stimulation and how is it used to treat Parkinsons disease?How does learning about fear conditioning inform treatments for anxiety disorders?2) Find Information, search for papers related to your topic via Pubmed, PsycINFO, etc. Use a few searchterms to narrow things down. You may need to read several abstracts before deciding on the particular articles you want to focus on.o What has been done in this field related to your research question?o What hasnt been done yet?o What unanswered questions remain?o Why is this an important question to answer/ investigate?3) Collect your articles, read them, make notes.4) Write your annotation for each article.5) Take a break, then re-read your work. Keep in mind the future assignment of designing your ownexperiment. How will these papers inform your introduction, methods, results, and discussion?6) Edit and revise your work.
