IntroductionIn 1988, the United States Congress passed the Indian Gaming Regulatory Act. The Act allows the Indian tribes to conduct gaming on the trust lands and establishes a system to regulate Indian gaming. The Indian Gaming Regulatory Act (IGRA) also determines the classifications of the Indian Gaming. There are three classes of gaming. The Class I gaming includes social gaming and traditional gaming. The tribes regulate class 1 gaming because it does not deal with money exchange. Class II gaming includes bingo, some similar games as bingo, and some non-bank games.
