Check your work.Deliverable 1. A figure and a short Paragraph describing the Meru Cabs Business ModelThis should provide the reader a sense of the Value Chain for Meru Cabs. Add a figure to explain and elaborate the business model. The model description within the case and Exhibit 2 in the Meru Cabs Case will provide you a start. However, you must go beyond that, and use this opportunity to demonstrate your understanding of the concepts with a short, concise and clear description. Deliverable 2. A Case Function Matrix Diagram that details the Meru Cab Operations2.1 Identify the case types. Examples may be (a) new vs. existing customers; (b) trips to the airport vs others; re-occurring trips; shared trips; commercial trips; (c) IVR vs Website  etc. Refer to the Djikman article. See how different services, different channels etc can each be a case type. A good way to do this would be a table that shows the case type name and a brief description (two columns).2.2 Identify the business functions. Read the Meru Cabs case and infer the functions based on the description of their operations and their front-end / back-end systems. Refer to the Djikman article. See how you can identify different business functions (departments) and sub-functions to populate the Process Modeling Assignment. 2 matrix. A good way to do this would be a table that shows the function and sub-function name and a brief description (two columns). This effort to identify different case types and different functionswill require you to think carefully. 2.3 Construct a case/function matrix based on the case types and business functions you identified. Present your matrix graphically. Indicate the mapping by showing which functions contribute to which case types (in the example we saw, this was marked as simply placing Xs in the relevant cells). Refer to the Djikman article and examples from our slides. Provide a narrative that describes your decisions about this mapping of functions to cases.2.4 Identify the processes for the Meru Cabs operations. You can do this by outlining what you think the processes should be on the case/function matrix. Use the rules from the Djikman article such as separation in space etc. Refer to the Djikman article. You will note that the Meru Cabs case we read already identifies some of the operational processes. Make sure that these are also seen in the case/function matrix you create. You will have additional processes beyond these. A good way to do this would be a table that shows the process names and a brief description (two columns). Provide a narrative that describes your decisions, and how you used guidelines from the article. Deliverable 3. Model of one Process (as-is version) with the Process Modeling Tool. Strong Suggestion: Booking Management and Cab Delivery. (If you use a different process, talk to me ahead of time.) You will need to think about specific tasks in this process. You may reflect on the process, talk to yourself in the mirror. You may talk with colleagues as well, but your colleagues maynot want to share all their ideas, and neither should you. Ensure that you are constructing a good model pay attention to the guidelines from our class materials such as start/end points, atomic tasks, proper task names etc. Name all tasks. Name the waiting places if you think what they are is not clear. Show path probabilities on all arcs. Use the token game to test that the process is behaving as you intended. Check to ensure that the model is semantically sound. Generate a (readable) picture of the Model. Generate a narrative (bulleted list of tasks) of the process. Provide screenshots to indicate thatyou played the token game and checked semantic soundness.
