DevotionsPART 1James 1:19-20 states that people should be slow to anger and to speak. Instead, they need to be quick to listen to others. Such practices are essential in relation to servant leadership. People who are slow to anger are more likely to be interested in fostering better relationships with others (Knowing Jesus, 2019). The action will enable them to be more willing to consider the position of the other party who has done them some wrong. Further, people need to be more willing to listen to the explanation of the other individual during the process of conflict resolution. The strategy will enable them to be highly effective in the conflict resolution process.
