BACDThe professional standard which will enable me to solve the ethical problem provided is Standard 5: Health (Naeyc, 2019). I chose the ethical standard because of the relationship which it shares with the scenario. The perception of the son that he is not healthy because they do not eat meat is aligned to the concept of health. Therefore, it is important to attain an understanding of the knowledge pertaining to food and health. In the situation where the son is provided insights regarding the contributing factors to good health, he is more likely to be more aware about the different types of foods which he can take the full advantage of, instead with the aim of boosting his health outcomes.
