At various parts in the lessons you will see an icon that looks like clouds in the sky, and this is a prompt for you to Think About It. In each lesson there will be at least one of these icons that is referring to a topic that was just covered.At the same moment that the assignment is due for that chapter/lesson, you have the opportunity to post about the Think About It topic on the Discussion board. You can earn up to 2% bonus for doing this; you get 1% for being the first to post about a topic and you get another 1% for replying to another students post. To earn these bonus marks, the posts must contain some thought that goes beyond simply restating the original points, and the posts must be completed under the Think About It Discussion board before the due date. There are a total of six due dates for these posts. So, for instance, if you want to post your thoughts about a Think About It icon in Lesson 6, then this is due at the same time that the assignment for Lesson 6 is due, which isJune 14th. You may complete your original post or reply for a specific lesson at any point before the due date, and you dont have to do one type of post (original or reply) before the other. These posts should be about 1/3 of a page. Please remember to be courteous and respectful to your fellow students when posting what you think about their thoughts. Late posts will not be accepted for any reason.
