I have already built the SpikerBox and I recorded the neural spike recording using the BYB SpikeRecorder app. I attached the voice video here. First: Read the instruction from the files I attached here and start the Matlab coding by loading this video into Matlab to collect data as required. You should get a couple graphs. I want you to use MATLAB please!!. ************I need you to send me all the MATLAB files you are creating at the end and I want to be able to run them in my computer. So please write the coding in scripts. Second: Write- Up Section: No introduction and methods section need here. Directly start: 1- Write Hypothesis: Based on the roach anatomy papers, and any others that you found e.g. using Google Scholar, what is your initial hypothesis as to the origin of the spikes, based on where you placed your electrodes and the type of stimulus you used?2-Results: This is where you describe the data you collected from MATLAB.You will present the data recorded in the experiment in numbered graphs and images (numbered as Figure 1,2,3, etc.). This section will also include a brief written description of the data collected and of observations that you made. Make sure to refer to the figures by number. 3-Discussions: Briefly explain the results and discuss the expected and unexpected results as they relate to the hypothesis or to specific literature (properly cited) that may have led you to specific expectations. This section should critique the experimental design: it should express whether the experiment was set up to address the hypothesis or if there were other factors that interfere with interpretation of the data.
