In this module, some of the main ideas I engaged in includes the understanding of the causes and impacts of the slavery in Africa as well as the trans-Atlantic slave trade. Various Historical events which took place in Africa were highlighted in the Module as well as the influence of the European colonization on African culture, economy and history. I was also able to learn that Africa is the second largest continent and often identified by Charles Darwin as the cradle for humankind.
