IntroductionHypertension is interchangeably used with high blood pressure. It is often noted to be a condition associated with abnormally high blood pressure which can trigger deadly complications such as heart disease and stroke. Due to hypertension, the exerted blood pressure can force the walls of the blood vessels that may eventually cause death if not managed (Egan et al, 2014).
